Guys, if I see the biggest news of this month, march, in
pc market then I definitely can see this highlighted news, “The Mozilla
organization just have killed the process of developing Firefox latest version Metro for windows 8 atmosphere”. (RIP :)
According
to one of the official of Firefox stated this decision has been taken due to
low users or low traffic response by Mozilla fans. Read this article on death
of Firefox latest version by keeping in mind, Mozilla has
just launched its newest version ‘Metro (web browser)’ for the users of windows
8 in 2012. According to the official of Mozilla, now after launch of Metro,
organization has decided to stop developing this platform for windows 8 due to
very tiny users. In fact if play with statistics of traffic on windows 8
version ‘Metro’ of Firefox, “Mozilla has never seen more than 1000 users on its
pre-testing version or beta version of Metro browser”, said by official vice
president of Firefox Johnathan Nightingale in a blog post. Moreover he added,
apart from the Metro platform of Firefox, but on any given day they have seen
millions of users on their any other platform’s beta version. So it was
ridiculous to seeing only 1000 guys testing newest version of Mozilla Firefox
‘Metro’ and finally decision was picked to stop developing and shipping it any
more.
This research has also been done by many other
research oriented or data analysis companies like NetMarketShare and
StateCounter. Both companies has described Firefox’s aggregate 17.7% and 19.2 %
respectively in the shares of global browsers market. But aggression was shown
for Firefox’s earlier versions by hundreds of millions of people but now this
time stats have said only 1000 users daily for beta version of newly born
Mozillla Firefox ‘Metro’ for windows 8. It’s really an amazing art and news,
when on one side Mozilla has utterly been punished on its version ‘Metro’ for
windows 8 then on the other hand Microsoft (creator of windows 8 OS platform)
was announcing ‘They have sold more than 200 new licenses since birth date of
windows 8’. So shortly question arises here, why Mozilla is facing such a
severe decline (after warm response to its earlier versions) when its boss
windows is on a good note. One probably reason is the Mozilla officials has
just only done work on versions of only
intel-based systems, not the ARM-based RT systems, which have unfortunately
very poor and humble sale ratio.
So going
to the point of today’s article, vice president of Firefox has said in his
blogpost “we have decided to pause the release of our metro version 1.0 as we
can’t afford to ship things and can’t afford to devote time on projects having
such slower response”.
It is just like the decision, made by DONG(creator of Flappy bird), to stop and relaunch of blockbuster Floppy Bird

In his
latest blogpost (Nightingale) he said, we can’t take the risk of shipping any
product which has been tested by a very small number of users. Keep in mind
readers launching and shipping any such kind of product (like Metro) may carry
many bugs after its launch. Moreover it (launch without testing) may desire a
lot of follow up engineering, design and technicalities and quality assurance efforts.
Thus proper launch of firefox latest version ‘Metro’ for windows 8 is not an
option at all, said by Nightingale. He added more, ‘Once we take commitment and
release a product then we maintain it through end of life’. So according to
view of vice president it is better to give a gift of death to bad guy (before
its birth) rather than birthing it for your own troubles.
Well guys
, now I am feeling tired and want to say good bye till my some next article or
news sheet etc or wait until I may expose some other latest but easy techniques to make money online. Good night / Good
evening / Good noon……..
