Firm has
stated in his magazine statement, not only iOS devices like iPhone, music
players etc are on risk rather Mac OS is always laying in this risky zone. They
made ‘Major flaws in Apple software’ as their base of allegations, saying such
flaws allow hackers to jump into your private communication like emails or
other similar stuff and hackers may cause serious collateral damage for you. So
beware if you are sharing your private emails or other stuff through iOS devices or Mac devices. I am fully
lunatic from the danger of hacking my stuff, even though i am user of iOS too,
as my emails and other communications (which are meant to be encrypted) have
nothing so much serious and private in it. I might actually find it charming if
the hackers were interested in my emails, because I'm certainly not very
special, I am happy with Apple security team and flaws left in iOS devices. But
I know for all other special folks, users of Apple iOS devices, this news is
like a blasting burden.
Let’s
have a imagination, you are using mobile user network in some unsecured network
like offered by some restaurant , your Apple iOS may got gambled by hackers and
they could approach or alter your private exchanges like in Gmail (Google+), Twitter or
Facebook etc. That’s mean guys, if there is flaw in the boss of communication
OS (iOS), even your local and native Govt may caught you at any time. So guys,
in my view, it is totally against your basic rights (Apple must debug for you).
But on the same note, I have another opinion too, when you code something on
very bigger scale as iOS is you definitely can’t overcome all of bugs
completely. So point is, irrespective to this bad news about Apple, undoubtedly
they are still world’s leading professionals. On all of this issue Professor
Matthew Green, cryptography of Johns Hopkins University has passed out his
professional and precious statement for a person like me to understand all of
this matter "It's as bad as you could imagine, that's all I can say,"
(Imagine severeness of matter).
Professor
Green further added in the release of his statement, if Apple could not be able
to fix the software, a hacker may impersonate a protected site and he may sit
in your financial email sent by you to your real estate agent. Believe me guys
such type of emails are more than important if someone sit illegally in your
email, which you are using to discuss your finance with your real estate
officer. Although, there was nothing some serious response from the side of
Apple on this security issue, but recently they blunt their official statement
on site: “The software failed to validate the authenticity of the connection".
Apple
claimed this problem is being faced in Apple released software patches, current
version of iOS iPhone 4 and later, 5th generation iPod touches, iPad
2 and its later versions.
After
analyzing the patch (code) of Apple, special security researchers have stated
not only iOS is with flaw but this issue of security also exists in other
current versions of Mac at the same time. So we need precautions and Mac
developers need debugging for running Apple Laptop and Desktop users. Experts
furthermore have stated, there is still no patch available in Apple iOS devices which are 99.9 or
hundred percent secure but let me say you must expect some new one very soon.
Even though I am saying with a great optimistic approach that our coming Apple
OS versions will definitely be more secure and authorized but at the same time
we should never underestimate the approaches of black business guys or hackers
etc. Such people are usually also genius, code lovers and visionary engineers. So
they will also be studying iOS software code too in a depth and could have been
able to found weaknesses left in code algorithm by developer, probably within
days or hours. So I recommend, rather I request to developers team of Apple
iOS devices as I am big fan of Steve Job’s brand, please engineers
must do think one step apart from the vision of spies and hackers for the
security of users of iOS and mac devices. In other way we can say, iOS developers need
to think like thieves and spies mind to develop an operating system which 99.9
% flawless.
Conclusion:
We, mostly
people who are here and there, are lovers of Apple iOS devices (having existing
or earlier versions) but according to a research made by a private firm these
existing versions of iOS or Mac OSX are not fully secured to use. If you may
use your iPhone or some other Apple device in some public mobile network, some
hacker may clutch you and may sit in your email to read your precious
conversations to damage financially and personally to you. But dear friends
keep in mind these are not just emails that are open to attack, all encrypted traffic is vulnerable
(Be attentive!).
If you
may connect to a public WiFi network, probably in an airport, pub or coffee
shop etc, and you go sign in to your bank's website (to download your mini
statement), attackers could spy on this connection. It is a very serious flaw
(losing your money is biggest flaw) - communications on all Apple's mobile,
tablet and desktop devices that are meant to be encrypted are not at all.
So what
one need to do? Should one say good by to one’s love Apple iOS devices? I will
say NO! rather Update your iOS fashion statements to iOS 7.0.6 as soon as
possible. If you are still not satisfied with the efforts of developers made
for iOS 7.0.0 then I would say in the longer term consider replacing them (iOS
devices) with Android devices.
